The Raymarine Type 2 Long Linear Drive Unit operates at 24V and is engineered for sailing vessels requiring reliable, below-decks autopilot control. It connects directly to the tiller arm or rudder quadrant, translating commands from the ACU-400 corepack into precise rudder movement with strong thrust, quick hard-over response, and low acoustic output. An independent tiller arm connection is used for the rudder stock interface; accessory fittings from your steering system manufacturer may be needed, and the steering system must be capable of being back-driven from the rudder.
