The Ocean Signal ARH100 Automatic Hydrostatic Release Housing is built from durable, highly UV-stable plastic that shields the EPIRB unit until deployment is needed. A built-in hydrostatic release mechanism automatically activates and deploys the EPIRB if the vessel begins to sink — fulfilling IMO regulations that require an automatic release housing for all mandatory-fit EPIRBs.
