The Airmar R109LHW is a CHIRP-ready thru-hull transducer engineered for both inshore and offshore fishing applications. Its dual-band design pairs a 2 kW low-frequency band (38–75 kHz) for deep-water reach with a 1 kW high-wide frequency band (150–250 kHz) that maintains a fixed 25-degree beamwidth across all frequencies — delivering twice the coverage under the hull compared to conventional narrow-beam high-frequency transducers. Built into a urethane housing with an included fairing block, the R109LHW ships as bare wire with no connector pre-attached and features patented Xducer ID® technology for seamless sounder recognition.
