The Airmar B265LM is a CHIRP-ready bronze thru-hull transducer built for mid- to deep-water fishing applications. Its dual-band design spans 73 kHz of total bandwidth from a single unit, covering popular fishing frequencies of 50, 88, and 107 kHz along with everything else within its two operating bands. The low-frequency band (42–65 kHz) reaches depths down to 914 m (3,000 ft), while the medium-frequency band (85–135 kHz) excels at resolving targets suspended near structure or within the water column down to 457 m (1,500 ft). At 1 kW of output power, the B265LM delivers sharp bottom discrimination and reliable bait-to-gamefish separation across all depths. The included high-performance Fairing maintains broadband acoustic performance at speeds exceeding 30 knots (34 MPH).
