Star brite Water-Based Waterproofing & Fabric Protectant restores and adds water repellency to a broad range of fabrics — from new and delicate materials to aged, worn, or sun-damaged textiles. The low-odor, solvent-free, non-PFOA formula is safe for polyurethane-laminated fabrics and well-suited for use in or near water environments. One 22 oz bottle covers approximately 80 square feet.
Features:
- Adds and restores water repellency to clothing, backpacks, patio cushions, camping gear, silk flowers, and other personal accessories
- Maintains the fabric's original appearance and breathability
- Safe for delicate and polyurethane-laminated fabrics
- Low-odor, water-based, solvent-free, and non-PFOA formula
- Easy spray-and-spread application for even, thorough coverage
Specifications:
- Size: 22 oz
- Coverage: 22 oz = approx. 80 sq ft; 64 oz = approx. 232 sq ft; 1 gallon = approx. 465 sq ft (coverage may vary depending on application rate)
- Formula type: Water-based, solvent-free, non-PFOA
- Safe for polyurethane-laminated fabrics: Yes
- Ready to use at full strength for best results; if dilution is required, use mineral spirits only — do not cut with denatured alcohol as clumping and adverse effects will occur
- Keep from freezing
Directions:
Shake well. Lay fabric flat and spray the surface until thoroughly wet. Spread with a brush or sponge to cover the entire surface. Avoid overspray or drips. Allow to dry completely before use, folding, or storage. Treat fabric seasonally for continued protection, or as often as needed. Clean with your preferred Star brite wash or cleaner before reapplication. For heavy-duty, acrylic, or marine-grade fabrics, consider solvent-based Star brite Waterproofing.
