Star brite Premium Outdoor Teak Cleaner (Step 1) cuts through old oils, stains, and gray weathering on teak decks, outdoor and indoor teak furniture, and fine wood surfaces. The formula preps wood for oiling without any sanding and is safe around fiberglass and painted surfaces.

Directions:

Badly weathered (gray or black) teak: Apply directly to dry wood and spread with a stiff-bristle brush or medium scrub pad. Let sit 1–2 minutes, then scrub with the grain. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water.

Lightly stained teak: Wet the wood with fresh water first, apply the cleaner, and spread with a brush or scrub pad. Scrub lightly to lift dirt and stains, then rinse thoroughly with fresh water.

Next step: Once the wood is fully clean, apply Star brite Premium Teak Brightener to bring out the grain and restore natural color. Follow with Star brite Premium Golden Teak Oil or Teak Oil Sealer to protect and preserve.

Note: Immediately rinse any spills or drips from untreated surfaces. Keep away from fabrics.
