The Scotty 282 bundles three components into one ready-to-mount combo: a dual-purpose baitcaster/spinning rod holder, a Gear-Head track adapter, and a 4" low-profile track. The cushioned cradle secures a baitcaster reel while a front slot accepts a spinning reel, and the open bottom accommodates trigger-grip handles. A soft latching strap snaps over the top for baitcaster setups or tucks under the bottom for spinning reels. The Gear-Head adapter slides into the track and locks with a simple twist, letting you reposition rod holders and accessories without tools. The low-profile track installs cleanly on kayaks, canoes, or virtually any other watercraft.
