The Raymarine T222 Vertical Wind Transmitter extends your masthead wind sensor 1.35 m (4'5") above the mast top, lifting it into undisturbed airflow for significantly more accurate true wind speed (TWS) and true wind angle (TWA) readings. The elevated position reduces turbulence caused by the mast itself and minimizes upwash errors when sailing downwind — both critical for reliable performance functions. Built from lightweight carbon fibre, it can be installed with the mast in place, and calibration is handled directly from any Micronet display.
