The Raymarine Ray73 integrates a full-featured VHF marine radio, built-in AIS receiver, Class D Digital Selective Calling (DSC), and a loudhailer output into a single full-sized chassis. An oversized LCD and large controls make offshore operation straightforward, while NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 network compatibility lets the Ray73 connect seamlessly with other onboard electronics. Program your vessel's MMSI number and the DSC safety and calling features are immediately active. An optional hailing horn enables public-address communication with crew on deck, on the dock, or aboard another vessel, and the radio can generate manual or automatic fog signals using built-in tone and gong sounds that meet international regulations. A second station is supported via the optional RayMic handset, which also provides station-to-station intercom capability. The integrated GPS/GNSS receiver can be supplemented with an optional external antenna for improved reception when the radio is mounted below deck, in an enclosed pilothouse, or inside a metal enclosure.
