The Raymarine 5M Backbone Cable is a core component of any SeaTalkng network installation. A single backbone cable runs the length of the vessel, carrying both data and power to every connected device. Individual instruments and sensors attach via spur cables to T-pieces along the backbone, so the run should be planned to pass every location where an NG or NMEA 2000 device may eventually be installed. Two backbone cables can be joined end-to-end using part A06030 backbone extender when additional length is needed.
