The President XT 40 builds on the proven President platform with a carbon body that keeps weight down without sacrificing rigidity, paired with a machined aluminum main gear for long-lasting, consistent cranking smoothness. A 10-bearing stainless steel system delivers fluid retrieves under load, and the Total Line Control System works to lay line evenly while reducing twist -- making it equally friendly to monofilament, fluorocarbon, and braid on the aluminum braid-ready spool.
