The Pflueger President XT 20 is built around a 7 stainless steel ball bearing system and a carbon body that keeps weight down without sacrificing rigidity. A machined aluminum main gear and aluminum main shaft deliver consistent power transfer through the retrieve, while the braid-ready aluminum spool means you can spool up with mono, fluoro, or braid right out of the box. Slow oscillation and the Total Line Control System work together to lay line evenly and reduce twist, keeping your presentations running true whether you're casting for bass or working a jig on an inshore flat.
