The Ocean Signal SafeSea EPIRB1 Pro is the world's most compact float-free Category 1 EPIRB, transmitting on the internationally monitored 406 MHz Cospas-Sarsat satellite band to deliver rapid distress alerts anywhere on the globe. Its 30% smaller footprint compared to typical EPIRBs makes mounting straightforward on commercial, fishing, and leisure vessels alike, while a 10-year battery life and robust operating endurance keep rescue services continuously updated on your position. The Category I Automatic Release Housing deploys and activates the beacon automatically via its Hydrostatic Release Unit should the vessel sink before the crew can reach it, and a retrofit adapter allows the housing to fit the same mounting holes used by older, larger units including the Ocean Signal E100/E100G, Jotron Tron 60s, and McMurdo E5/G5.
