The Garmin Step Mount attaches to the step of your boat hull, keeping a compatible 4-, 8-, or 12-pin transducer submerged and reading at low speeds while eliminating hull drag. When the boat comes up on plane, the transducer rises clear of the water, pausing bottom tracking — and the mount's design helps shield the transducer from submerged hazards.
