The Airmar Navico 9-Pin Dual Mix & Match Cable is designed for dual-element CHIRP transducers connecting to dual-socket Navico, Lowrance, or Simrad xSonic 9-pin equipment. Mix and Match transducers use a permanent 9-meter cable (terminated with an Airmar 12-pin connector) that runs through the hull to the helm, paired with a short 1-meter brand-specific adapter cable that bridges the transducer cable to the sounder. Both the 9-meter cable and the adapter cable are required for a complete installation. If you switch fishfinder brands down the road, the transducer and its hull cable stay in place — only the adapter cable needs to change. Note that CHIRP Mix and Match cables are not compatible with conventional 50/200 kHz transducers.
