The Garmin P19 Nylon 12° Tilt Transducer delivers reliable thru-hull depth sounding in a nearly flush-mount plastic housing. Its internally tilted ceramic element provides built-in deadrise compensation without requiring a fairing block, producing a true vertical beam for accurate echo returns down to 206 m (700 ft). Only 5 mm (2/10") of the housing protrudes below the hull, keeping drag to an absolute minimum — a design that has made the P19 a long-standing choice for cruising powerboats and sailboats up to 9 m (30 ft).
