The Garmin GT15M-THF brings mid-band CHIRP sonar to midsize fishing and cruising boats through a stainless steel, flush-mount thru-hull design that keeps hull drag to a minimum. Operating across 85–165 kHz, it returns crisp fish arches and well-defined bottom structure down to 1,200 ft in saltwater or 1,900 ft in freshwater. The 20-degree version fits hull deadrise angles of 16–24 degrees without a fairing block, and Garmin Auto-ID lets any compatible chartplotter recognize and configure itself to the transducer the moment it's connected.
