The Garmin GRA 10 translates analog rudder angle sensor output into NMEA 2000 digital data, letting vessels with legacy helm instrumentation feed rudder position information across a modern NMEA 2000 network. Compatible instruments such as the Garmin GMI 10 multifunction display can then read and present that data without requiring a complete instrument replacement.
