The Garmin Adapter Cable lets you pair a GT30 transom-mount scanning transducer with an Airmar P729 or P79 in-hull transducer on a single compatible Garmin echoMAP chartplotter/sonar combo. When cavitation interrupts depth data from the transom-mount unit, the echoMAP automatically pulls readings from the in-hull transducer — keeping your depth information continuous and reliable at speed.
Specifications:
- Connects a Garmin GT30 transom-mount scanning transducer to a compatible Garmin echoMAP chartplotter/sonar combo
- Also connects an Airmar P729 or P79 in-hull traditional transducer to the same echoMAP unit
- Enables simultaneous operation of both transducers on one compatible echoMAP device
- Sustains water depth display from the in-hull transducer when the transom-mount transducer loses depth data due to cavitation
