The Eliminator 2500 is the entry point of Daiwa's Eliminator spinning reel lineup — a compact, 9.9 oz workhorse built around the Hardbodyz concept, pairing an aluminum frame with a matching aluminum sideplate for a rigid, rattle-free housing. Inside, Digigear precision-cut gears drive a 5.6:1 retrieve at 33.2 inches per crank, backed by a 4BB + 1RB bearing arrangement. The Air Rotor shaves 15% of the weight compared to conventional designs while staying better balanced, and the anodized finish resists both scratches and corrosion in fresh or salt environments.
