Cisco's planer motors are a powerful 12 volt motor with a 7/16” stainless steel output shaft which rotates at 55-75 rpm. Attached to the shaft is a heavy duty stainless steel collar which is built for precision adjustments of the clutch. Other manufacturers use a thin snap ring which when too much pressure is applied, it breaks the ring causing the clutch components to rub against the motor housing.

The three mounting lugs are in a 1-7/8” bolt circle and are ¼-28 fine threaded holes. Cisco recommend using Cisco's electric controls with a 20 amp resettable breaker. For added protection, Cisco's motors include a weatherproof heat shrunk boot around the exterior of the motor/power leads and are protected with a GE silicone sealant to provide long term sustainability.

The blue male quick disconnects attached to the wire ends are compatible with the female ends on Cisco's electrical controls. If you plan on using Cisco's motor with a pre-existing application please select the bare wire option indicating you would like no wire ends on your motor.
