This mount incorporates Cisco's gimbal and quick release mount to create a sleek looking and versatile unit. The gimbal mount attaches to the gunnel plate of the quick release mount so that the rod holders/downrigger can be easily removed from the unit. This mount makes it much more user friendly when storing equipment by allowing you to separate your gimbal from your equipment instead of storing an oblong item. No tools are needed when separating or securing the pieces of equipment together.

The gimbal mount will adjust to any angle up to 33° and will rotate to any position. This will ensure that the user can get the mount positioned exactly how they want it. When the mount is in its final position the customer should apply as much force as possible to the hex screws which lock the unit in place. There is a set screw on the oppsing side of the hex screws that can also be securley fastened as a secondary locking mechanism.

Any of Cisco's Double/Triple/Quad Cross-Plates can attach to this mount as well as Cisco's various Downrigger Adapter Plates.
