The C.E. Smith Gen3 Carbon Fiber Outriggers deliver a stiffer, straighter alternative to fiberglass and aluminum poles, with built-in galvanic reaction protection that keeps the carbon fiber looking and performing its best over time. The solid fiberglass base adds strength and stability at the mount point, while Taper-Lok joints wedge the sections into a single rigid one-piece pole when extended. When the day is done, remove the locking pin from each collar and the sections collapse inside one another for compact storage. A non-conductive extra-long tip reduces line tangles in rough conditions, and integrated dual 316 stainless steel halyard eyes allow multiple halyards to run on a single pole without snagging. The base fits standard 1-1/2" stainless steel pole holders; the included aluminum sleeves adapt the poles to 1-5/8" aluminum rod holders. Sold as a pair, complete with a mesh storage bag.
