The Airmar SS175L is a stainless steel, 12° tilted thru-hull CHIRP transducer built for serious anglers and working captains on vessels up to 36 feet. Operating across the low-frequency CHIRP band (40–60 kHz), it delivers up to 35 kHz of total bandwidth from a single installation — providing bottom detection down to 3,000 m (10,000 ft) with five to ten times greater detail and resolution than conventional sonar. The low-frequency sweep covers the popular 50 kHz fishing frequency and everything within the bandwidth, making it capable of distinguishing individual baitfish, game fish, and underwater structure. Exclusive Xducer ID® technology and a built-in fast-response water temperature sensor round out the feature set.
