The Airmar SS175L brings CHIRP sonar capability to steel and aluminum-hulled vessels up to 36 feet, delivering sharper bottom detail and target separation than conventional single-frequency transducers. Sweeping 40–60 kHz in the low-frequency band, it resolves individual baitfish, game fish, and underwater structures at depths down to 3,000 m (10,000 ft). A single thru-hull installation provides 35 kHz of total bandwidth along with a fast-response water-temperature sensor, making it a practical choice for commercial fishermen, charter captains, and tournament anglers who want more data from one transducer.

Specifications:

  • Designed for boats up to 36 ft (11 m)
  • CHIRP frequency range: 40–60 kHz (Low band)
  • Beamwidth: 32° to 21°
  • Total bandwidth: 35 kHz from a single transducer
  • Covers the popular 50 kHz fishing frequency and full bandwidth range
  • Element tilt: 20°
  • Hull deadrise: 16–24 degrees
  • Compatible hull material: Steel or aluminum
  • Transducer housing material: Stainless steel
  • Acoustic window material: Urethane
  • Integrated depth and fast-response water-temperature sensor
