The Airmar MM1-DST-BL is the brand-specific adapter cable that completes a Mix and Match™ transducer installation for Navico, Lowrance, and Simrad electronics. The system works by pairing a common base transducer (fitted with a short 2m pigtail ending in an Airmar 9-pin male connector) with this 8m adapter cable, which carries a matching Airmar 9-pin female connector on one end and the correct blue 8-pin connector for your electronics on the other. Both the base transducer cable and this adapter cable are required for a full installation. If you upgrade or switch electronics brands down the road, the transducer stays in place and only this adapter cable needs to be swapped out.
Note: 1kW Mix and Match cables are not compatible with 600W transducers or CHIRP transducers.
