The Airmar MM1-DST-14HB Mix and Match™ adapter cable connects a compatible 1kW Mix and Match base transducer to Humminbird 14-pin fishfinder units. The system pairs a short 2m pigtail (Airmar 9-pin male, attached to the transducer) with this longer 8m brand-specific cable (Airmar 9-pin female to Humminbird 14-pin). Both the base transducer cable and this adapter are required for a complete installation. One advantage of the Mix and Match design: if you switch fish finders later, only this adapter cable needs to be replaced — the transducer stays in place.
