The Airmar M265LH is a 1 kW CHIRP-ready in-hull transducer designed for Garmin fishfinders via a 12-pin connector. A seven-element low-frequency array spans 42–65 kHz for deep-water penetration, while a high-frequency ceramic element covers 130–210 kHz with a tight beam ideal for resolving structure and separating fish. Together, the two bands deliver 103 kHz of total bandwidth from a single unit, covering the key fishing frequencies of 50 and 200 kHz along with everything in between — including the 60 kHz range favored for Bluefin Tuna, 133 kHz for squid, and 175 kHz for cod. Installation is hull-friendly: the transducer seats in an included urethane tank that is trimmed to match the boat's deadrise and bonded inside the hull, eliminating the need to drill through the hull bottom — a practical choice for trailered or lift-stored vessels.
