The Airmar DT820BV-235-N2 is a low-profile, retractable thru-hull Smart™ Sensor that integrates the transducer element and signal processor into a single compact housing, delivering depth and temperature data over a single NMEA 2000 cable. Operating at 235 kHz, this sensor runs alongside on-board 50/200 kHz transducers without interference, and its urethane-faced broadband ceramic reads depth from as shallow as 500 mm (1.6') down to 183 m (600'). The 20° fixed tilt aligns the beam straight down on hulls with 16°–24° deadrise, and the retractable insert with self-closing valve keeps water out of the vessel during removal for cleaning.
