The Airmar DT812BV-235-N2 combines Tilted Element™ and broadband technologies in a low-profile, retractable thru-hull Smart™ Sensor designed for precise depth and temperature measurement. Operating at 235 kHz, it runs alongside existing 50/200 kHz onboard transducers without interference, and its embedded microelectronics process the sonar signal inside the sensor itself — delivering clean data to any NMEA 2000 display over a single cable. The 12° ceramic tilt corrects for hull deadrise so the transducer beam fires straight down, producing reliable bottom returns from as shallow as 0.5 m out to 180 m depth. A retractable insert with a self-closing valve simplifies removal for cleaning while keeping water out of the vessel.
