The Airmar B60 is a dual-frequency, 600 W thru-hull transducer built around Airmar's Tilted Element™ technology. The ceramic element is fixed at 20° within the bronze housing, compensating for hull deadrise angles between 16° and 24° so the sonar beam fires straight down — maximizing echo returns and producing accurate depth readings. The low-profile housing protrudes only 5 mm (3/16") beyond the hull surface and is suited for fiberglass or wood hulls on center-console or trailered boats up to 8 m (26'). An 8-pin connector makes it plug-compatible with Garmin chartplotters.
