The Airmar B285HW delivers wide-beam CHIRP performance in a bronze thru-hull housing, purpose-built for vessels up to 30 feet. Operating across a 150–250 kHz high-frequency range, it maintains a constant 25° beamwidth throughout the entire band — doubling bottom coverage compared to standard narrow-beam high-frequency transducers. That consistent beamwidth improves fish detection in the upper water column and produces larger, crisper return images on compatible CHIRP-ready echosounders. A Mix and Match cable is required and sold separately.
