The Airmar B175HW delivers broad, high-frequency CHIRP coverage through the hull with a constant 25° beamwidth across the full 150–250 kHz band. Unlike narrow-beam transducers, this wide-beam design delivers roughly twice the bottom coverage, sharper return images, and reliable fish detection in the upper water column — all from a single 1 kW bronze thru-hull unit. A built-in depth and fast-response water-temperature sensor rounds out the functionality. Requires a separately purchased Mix and Match cable.
