The Airmar B175HW is a bronze thru-hull transducer built around a wide-beam, high-frequency CHIRP-ready design that delivers exceptional shallow-water resolution, fine bottom detail, and reliable fish-target separation. Its fixed 25° beamwidth across the full 150–250 kHz high-frequency band provides roughly twice the upper water-column coverage compared to conventional narrow-beam high-frequency transducers, making it well suited for both inshore and pelagic fishing applications down to 152 m (500'). The 12° Tilted Element™ housing corrects for hull deadrise by orienting the ceramic element horizontally, maximizing echo returns without requiring a wedge fairing. Includes a Garmin 8-pin Mix & Match cable for CHIRP transducers.
