The Airmar B164 brings 1kW transducer performance to center-console and trailered sportfishing boats that can't accommodate a high-performance fairing. Its Tilted Element technology angles the ceramic arrays inside a flush-mount bronze housing, so the beam stays perfectly vertical beneath the hull without requiring external adjustment. The housing protrudes less than 6.35 mm (0.25") below the hull, sits safely on trailer rollers and bunks, and has no effect on running performance — making it a straightforward upgrade path for tournament-ready vessels running a 600W or 1kW echosounder.
