The Airmar B164 delivers 1 kW of sonar power in a flush-mount, tilted-element thru-hull design built for center-console and trailered vessels. No fairing is required — the low-profile bronze housing sits less than 6.35 mm (1/4") below the hull, so it clears trailer rollers and bunks without issue. Ceramic arrays are angled internally to produce a true vertical beam aimed directly beneath the hull, and the fixed 20° tilt is matched to hull deadrise angles of 16–24°. Dual-frequency operation, fast-response water temperature sensing, and Patented Xducer ID® technology round out the package.
