The Airmar B117 is a dual-frequency thru-hull transducer built around a single ceramic element in a low-profile bronze housing. Its nearly flush-mount profile extends only 5 mm (3/16") beyond the hull surface, keeping drag to a minimum. The right-angle cable exit conserves space in tight installations and provides protection if the transducer is accidentally stepped on. Compatible with Simrad, Lowrance, and B&G chartplotters via a 9-pin DT connector.
