ACR GlobalFix V6 EPIRB Survival Kit
Important: Register Your Beacon Before You Head Out
This is a 406 MHz emergency beacon. U.S. federal regulations require it to be registered with NOAA before use — and it is free.
Register online at beaconregistration.noaa.gov (fastest method). Registration links your beacon's unique ID to you, your vessel, and your emergency contacts, so the Coast Guard and search-and-rescue teams can respond faster if it is ever activated.
Registration is the owner's responsibility.
The ACR GlobalFix V6 EPIRB Survival Kit brings together a Category 2 406 MHz beacon and a curated set of signaling and survival tools designed to help responders locate you quickly when every second counts. Built for recreational and commercial vessels alike — from coastal cruising to offshore passage-making and commercial fishing — this kit consolidates critical safety gear into one ready-to-grab package.
The GlobalFix V6 EPIRB itself features Return Link Service (RLS), which confirms that your distress message has been transmitted and received, providing critical reassurance during an emergency. Near Field Communication (NFC) lets the beacon pair with a smartphone for fast diagnostics, verifying battery charge and proper function without tools or guesswork.
The included RapidDitch Express Bag is constructed from water-resistant, reflective material and is buoyant enough to float with up to 15 lbs of gear. Internal pockets, tethers, and loops keep all components organized and accessible. The shoulder strap detaches and reconfigures into two 4-foot safety harnesses that clip directly to a life jacket to keep occupants connected in the water.
The HemiLight 3 Automatic Survivor Locator Light attaches to virtually any life jacket style in seconds, with an attachment loop that fits webbing up to 2 inches (5 cm) wide. Its rounded edges protect inflatable life jacket bladders. The high-intensity flashing LED activates automatically on contact with salt or fresh water and runs for 20 or more hours.
The C-Strobe H2O LED strobe activates either manually or automatically on water contact, adding a second high-visibility signaling source to the kit. A signal mirror and WW-3 Res-Q whistle round out the non-electronic signaling options.
