The SI-TEX MDA-1 is a compact Class B AIS transceiver built around an Rmax Class B engine for extended range and efficient real-time processing of all AIS message types. Its IPx7-rated housing measures just 5.5" x 3.9" x 1.9", allowing flexible mounting locations aboard recreational or commercial vessels. An integrated 50-channel GPS smart antenna removes the need for a separate GPS antenna in most installations — the unit simply requires a clear view of the sky. NMEA 0183, NMEA 2000, and USB interfaces support straightforward plug-and-play integration with existing onboard electronics.
