The PENN Squall II Star Drag conventional reel pairs a lightweight graphite build with the Live Spindle free-floating spool design for smooth, long casts and a fast 6.1:1 retrieve. The Fast Gear Access Sideplate makes maintenance quick and intuitive, while the Versa-Drag system with HT-100 washers delivers reliable stopping power from the surf to light offshore duty. The SQLII12SD is the compact entry point of the five-size lineup, balancing a manageable line capacity with the same quality hardware found across the series.
