The Lee's Tackle RH570XL is a heavy-duty stainless steel bulkhead mount rod holder built for serious offshore applications. At 4 inches longer than the standard model, the extra-length tube lets bent-butt rods sit deeper, distributing leverage and reducing stress on the mounting surface. The signature swivel base allows the rod butt to rotate freely when lateral pressure is applied at the tip, keeping the line on the roller and eliminating the shear forces that can snap a rigid holder pin — a critical advantage when targeting Giant Bluefin Tuna with 60-lb drag settings. When used with straight-butt rods, the swivel functions as a conventional holder; rotation can be applied manually to keep the line tracking on the tip roller. Swivel torque is user-adjustable via two nylon drag washers and a 1/2-inch stainless steel lock nut at the base.
