The Garmin J1939 Cable links a GPSMAP® 8400 or 8600 series chartplotter directly to a J1939 network, enabling engine or generator monitoring and other J1939-compatible features. Like the NMEA 2000® network, the J1939 network follows an open standard while also supporting proprietary messages — giving you reliable, structured data integration at the helm. This cable measures 10 meters for flexible routing in larger installations.
