The Garmin GT12M-THF is a flush-mount bronze thru-hull transducer designed for midsize fishing and cruising boats that demand clean hull lines and dependable bottom tracking. Mid-band CHIRP sonar across 85–165 kHz produces well-defined fish arches and crisp structure returns, reaching depths of 800 ft in saltwater and 1,200 ft in freshwater. Auto-ID plug-and-play setup lets a compatible Garmin sonar unit recognize and configure the transducer automatically. The bronze housing installs through fiberglass, composite, or wood hulls with deadrise angles from 16° to 24°, eliminating the need for a fairing block.
