The Garmin GNX Wired Sail Pack 52 brings together four precisely matched components into a single plug-and-play NMEA 2000 sailing instrument system. The GNX Wind and GNX 20 displays pair with the gWind Wired transducer and Airmar DST810 thru-hull smart transducer to put true and apparent wind, depth, speed, water temperature, and heel/trim and pitch/roll attitude data on sharp monochrome LCD screens — compatible with Nexus, Garmin chartplotters, NMEA 2000 networks, and USB.

GNX Wind Marine Instrument

The GNX Wind delivers wind data on a glass-bonded, backlit monochrome LCD with user-selectable backlight colors. Two data fields and a digital wind rose display simultaneously via NMEA 2000, covering true and apparent wind, steering guidance, and boat speed across more than 15 configurable marine parameters organized into fully customizable user profiles. Power draw is just 350 mW in daylight (no backlight) and 400 mW at night (mid-level backlight), keeping hotel loads minimal on a sailboat. ANT wireless technology also streams wind data directly to a compatible quatix 3 GPS marine smartwatch.

gWind Wired Transducer

Rather than a traditional cups design, the gWind Wired uses a 3-bladed propeller combined with twin-fin technology for consistent efficiency across the full wind speed range. The propeller improves True Wind Speed accuracy in light air, while the twin fins stabilize True Wind Angle readings. Optic reading technology provides superior precision at low wind speeds and excellent linearity throughout.

GNX 20 Marine Instrument

The GNX 20 pairs a glass-bonded display and anti-glare lens coating with scalable digits up to 36 mm tall, rendering black numerals against a white or color background for strong readability in any light. The instrument covers water depth, boat speed through water, water temperature, and more than 50 configurable marine and boat parameters.

Airmar DST810 Thru-Hull Smart Transducer

The DST810 is a multisensor thru-hull transducer that measures depth to 330 feet, water speed, and temperature while also capturing heel/trim and pitch/roll attitude data — all delivered to the NMEA 2000 network and the GNX 20. Operating at 235 kHz with a fan-shaped 10x44-degree beamwidth, it outputs water speed at a rapid 5 Hz rate. Bluetooth connectivity enables calibration through the Airmar Cast app, and advanced speed calibration supports multiple heel angles and speeds for precise corrections underway.
