The Garmin GNX Wired Sail Pack 52 bundles everything a performance sailor needs to monitor wind and water conditions in one cohesive NMEA 2000 system. The pack pairs the GNX Wind and GNX 20 instruments with the gWind Wired transducer and Airmar DST810 thru-hull smart transducer, delivering true and apparent wind data, depth, speed, temperature, heel/trim, and pitch/roll — all on high-contrast monochrome LCD displays with plug-and-play installation across Nexus, Garmin chartplotters, NMEA 2000, and USB.
GNX Wind Marine Instrument
The GNX Wind provides wind data on a glass-bonded, backlit monochrome LCD display with customizable backlight colors. Connected via NMEA 2000, it shows two data fields plus a digital wind rose simultaneously, displaying true and apparent wind data, steering guidance, boat speed, and more. Over 15 marine parameters covering wind, speed, and navigation are configurable through fully customizable user profiles. Power draw is just 350 mW in daylight (no backlight) and 400 mW at night (mid-level backlight), making it well-suited for sailboats. The GNX Wind also connects wirelessly via ANT technology to a quatix 3 GPS marine smartwatch to stream wind data directly to your wrist.
gWind Wired Transducer
The gWind Wired uses twin-fin technology paired with a 3-bladed propeller — not a cups design — for consistent efficiency across wind speeds. The 3-bladed propeller improves True Wind Speed (TWS) accuracy in lighter air, while the twin-fin design delivers a more stable True Wind Angle (TWA). Optic reading technology provides superior accuracy at low wind speeds and excellent linearity.
GNX 20 Marine Instrument
The GNX 20 features a glass-bonded display with anti-glare lens coating, presenting black digits on a white or color background for strong readability day or night. Digits are scalable up to 36 mm and the display covers water depth, boat speed through the water, water temperature, and more than 50 marine and boat parameters.
Airmar DST810 Thru-Hull Smart Transducer
The DST810 is a multisensor thru-hull transducer that delivers precise depth (to 330 feet), speed, and temperature data alongside attitude sensing for heel/trim and pitch/roll inputs — all fed to the NMEA 2000 network and the GNX 20 instrument. It operates at 235 kHz with a fan-shaped beamwidth of 10x44 degrees and outputs a fast 5 Hz water speed signal. Bluetooth connectivity enables DST810 calibration through Airmar's Cast app, and advanced speed calibration supports multiple heel angles and speeds.
