The Garmin GNX Wired Sail Pack 43 brings together a complete suite of wired sail instruments and 43 mm thru-hull transducers, letting you retrofit existing Nexus or Silva TH43 fittings without cutting new holes. The bundle pairs the GNX Wind instrument and GNX 20 display with the gWind Wired transducer, GDT 43 depth transducer, and GST 43 speed/temperature transducer — all networked via NMEA 2000 for seamless data sharing with compatible Garmin chartplotters and instruments.

GNX Wind Instrument

The GNX Wind delivers real-time wind data through a high-visibility, glass-bonded backlit monochrome LCD. It simultaneously shows two data fields plus a digital wind rose, covering true and apparent wind, steering guidance, boat speed, and more than 15 marine parameters. Backlight color is customizable, and power draw is just 350 mW in daylight (no backlight) or 400 mW at night (mid-level backlight). ANT technology connects the GNX Wind directly to the gWind Wired transducer and extends compatibility to a quatix GPS marine smartwatch or Garmin Nautix in-view display for streamed wind data.

gWind Wired Transducer

The gWind transducer uses Nexus twin-fin technology with a 3-bladed propeller to deliver accurate wind speed and stable True Wind Angle (TWA), even in lighter air conditions. Wind signals transmit via ANT connection directly to the GNX Wind instrument or a compatible GPSMAP chartplotter.

GNX 20 Marine Instrument

The GNX 20 features a glass-bonded display with anti-glare lens coating and high-contrast digits scalable up to 36 mm, readable in both daylight and low-light conditions. It shows water depth, boat speed through water, water temperature, and more than 50 marine and boat parameters over the NMEA 2000 network. Five display configurations are available — single, dual, triple function, gauge, and graph modes — for both sailboat and powerboat profiles, and pages can be fully customized. Power consumption is 25 mA / 350 mW daytime with no backlight required, and 400 mW with a mid-level backlight at night.

GDT 43 and GST 43 Transducers

Both transducers use 43 mm thru-hull fittings, making them a direct retrofit for boats with existing Nexus or Silva TH43 transducers — no new hull penetrations needed. The GST 43 measures speed and temperature; the GDT 43 measures depth. Each GDT 43 includes an NMEA 2000 adapter so its data can be shared across the network to compatible Garmin chartplotters and displays.
