The Garmin GNX Wind is a dedicated wind instrument built for sailboats in the 20- to 40-foot range, whether upgrading an aging system or starting fresh. A glass-bonded backlit monochrome LCD with customizable backlight colors delivers high-contrast readability from nearly any angle in any lighting condition. It connects via NMEA 2000 and ANT technology, supports flush or flat mounting, and draws as little as 350 mW with the backlight off — keeping power consumption low on passage. Wireless compatibility with select Garmin chartplotters and the quatix 3 GPS marine smartwatch lets you stream wind data directly to your wrist.
