The Garmin GMI™ Wired Start Pack 52 delivers everything needed to build a capable onboard instrument network from the ground up. The bundle pairs the GMI 20 marine instrument display with the gWind™ transducer and AIRMAR® DST810 thru-hull smart transducer, giving you real-time wind, depth, speed, and temperature data over a plug-and-play NMEA 2000® backbone that scales easily as your network grows.

The GMI 20 features a 4" glass-bonded color display with anti-glare finish, 170-degree viewing angle, and extra-large digits readable at distance. Night-visibility color schemes (red/black, green/black, or standard night mode) and a dimmer control keep the display useful after dark. Auto-scroll cycles through pages hands-free — a particular advantage for sailors mounting units in varied locations. Over 100 marine and vessel parameters are supported, and default profiles for powerboat, sailboat, fishing, and engine/fuel use can be customized. Power is drawn directly from the NMEA 2000 network.

The gWind transducer uses a twin-fin design paired with a 3-bladed propeller and optical reading to deliver stable True Wind Angle (TWA) and accurate True Wind Speed (TWS) even in light air — advantages the propeller maintains over a cups-style design across all wind speeds.

The AIRMAR DST810 thru-hull smart transducer measures depth to 330 feet, outputs water speed at 5 Hz, operates at 235 kHz with a 10 × 44-degree fan-shaped beam, and senses heel/trim and pitch/roll attitude data for the NMEA 2000 network. Bluetooth® connectivity allows DST810 calibration via the AIRMAR CAST™ app, with advanced speed calibration available at multiple heel angles and speeds.
