The Garmin GMI 20 is a 4-inch color marine instrument display built for both power and sail vessels, capable of showing depth, speed, wind, and more than 100 additional marine and vessel parameters. A glass-bonded lens with anti-glare finish resists fogging and boosts contrast, while the 170-degree viewing angle and extra-large digits keep data readable from across the cockpit. Night modes in red/black, green/black, or standard color — paired with a dimmer control — support low-light use, and the auto-scroll function cycles pages hands-free, opening up flexible mounting locations. Default profiles for powerboat, sailboat, fishing, and engine/fuel are all user-customizable, and a built-in race timer with an internal beeper handles countdown and count-up duties. Two included trim snap covers let you match the unit to GPSMAP 500/700 series, GPSMAP 8000 Glass Helm series, or legacy Garmin chartplotters. Power is drawn directly from the NMEA 2000 network.
