The Garmin B175M is a flush-mounted bronze thru-hull transducer built on the Airmar B175M platform. Its housing protrudes less than 1/4" beyond the hull surface, making it safe to rest on trailer rollers or bunks without risk of damage. The tilted internal element accommodates varying hull deadrises without requiring a fairing block, and the design is well suited to fiberglass and wood hulls. Rated at 1kW and capable of reading depths to 3,000 feet, it connects via an 8-pin connector.
