The Garmin B117 is a bronze thru-hull transducer engineered for reliable depth and temperature readings at higher vessel speeds. Its narrow-stem, 600W design fits fiberglass and wood hull installations and pairs with Garmin 8-pin sounders for a straightforward connection. Note that a separate adapter cable is needed when connecting to a 6-pin Garmin sounder, and this transducer is not suitable for metal hulls.
